Life Skills Through Horsemanship

A nature-based, small group experience for girls ages 13–16

Join us for a unique horsemanship experience rooted in presence, discovery, and heartfelt connection. This program is not about competition or riding.
It’s about cultivating relationships — with horses, with the natural world, and most importantly, with oneself.

Discover strength through connection with horses and nature. This experience blends horsemanship skills with powerful life lessons in
confidence, boundaries, and belonging—guided by the 7 Pillars of EQUUS.

Tuesdays and Thursdays: July 8, 10, 15, 17 – 10am – 2pm

Over the course of the series, participants will:

  • Develop foundational horsemanship skills (herd observation, connecting, catching, grooming, groundwork, etc.)

  • Explore meaningful life lessons through the EQUUS 7 Pillars for Thriving:
    Safety, Connection, Peace, Freedom, and Joy — held by Care and Presence

  • Learn why horses are such great teachers

  • Grow their sense of self-trust, awareness, and compassion

This series is ideal for girls who value:

    HORSEMANSHIP – Each day will include herd observation, catching, grooming, and ground work.

    LIFE SKILLS – Each day will focus on one or two of the pillars and will include exercises, journaling, discussion, and horse interaction.
